Tony Kong

After obtaining a law degree from the University of London, Tony worked at corporate and intellectual property law firms in Hong Kong before embarking on his journey in family law after returning to Canada in 2017. Upon his return to Canada, Tony completed the Internationally Trained Lawyer Pathway at the University of Alberta in 2019. Tony then articled in Edmonton, Alberta in a family law firm and was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2021. Tony was subsequently called to the BC bar in August the same year.
He is drawn to family law practice due to his passion for child welfare and understanding of how impactful and devastating family crises can be to children. Coming from a multicultural background, Tony is also able to see and understand how family functions in different ethnic settings. Other than a focus on family law practice, Tony is also developing a criminal defense practice. Tony is passionate about helping people in the community and believes that he can do the same through the practice of law. He resides in the tri-cities area and would never leave this province for the world. In his spare time, Tony plays in a band as a guitarist and is a die-hard Canucks fan.

Henry Chung
Barrister & Solicitor
Henry is a lawyer who is qualified to practice law in Canada, Hong Kong and the United States.
After graduation from law school in 2002, Henry worked in Maryland and Washington DC for a few years before moving to Hong Kong, where he practiced civil litigation for many years.
He has vast experience in assisting clients in Canada to witness Hong Kong probate and conveyancing documents and notarise Canadian documents for use internationally.
Henry practices civil litigation, handles small claims and residential tenancy board disputes, as well as presents arguments in the Empty Homes Tax disputes.
Henry also assists clients in wills drafting and reviewing commercial contracts such as franchise agreements, leases, service agreements, etc. When he is not practicing law, Henry teaches law at a Canadian university.
